Contacts Backup

Hi Guys,

This might seem to be a dumb question but please bear with me.

I am planning to do a factory reset on my phone and was worried about the contacts more than anything else. How to manage to get it back after the hard reset is done since I'm going to lose it everything. I do see all the contacts backed up on my verizon website and was wondering if those contacts would be deleted as well while doing a factory reset. Could you please tell me how to proceed with it? Thanks.

No you can retrive all contacts from Back up Assistant after you do your reset. When you set the phone back up go to your Backup Assistant and you will get all contacts restored.

I see. So, after the reset is done, I go to back up assistant and would have all the contacts there? Do i need to transfer the contacts to the address book somehow or would that be done automatically? Thanks.

There will be prompts from there,and it will pull all saved contacts from your list.

Google backs up all your contacts also. Every time your phone sync with Google there backed up. When u wipe and sign back into Google they will download all your contacts and apps and email.
