Contacts - Change default landing page?

Is it possible to change the default so that the app opens to Favorites instead of Keypad?

On my S3, contacts (and the phone app--they're really the same thing) open to whatever the last page I was on. So if I made a call from the favorites list, the next time I open contacts I go back to the favorites list. That's the closest I can come to defaulting to that page.

Not that I know of. I think it opens to the page that you were last on.

Seems to default to keyboard view for me and not previos tab. Not a big deal but would be nice to have.

AT&T. Stinks of a carrier thing. Just another OS variation that I'm sure was unintended (or maybe not) if that's the reason.

Ya, it sure does. VZW just sent out an update to include some things they removed that everyone else has had.
