Contacts List on Froyo 2.2 DROID 2

I upgraded from the DROID 1 to the DROID 2 both loaded with the Froyo 2.2 software for Verizon Wireless. I noticed on the DROID 1 that the contact entries for new contacts say "First Name" and "Last Name", while on the DROID 2 the list is under "Given Name" and "Family Name"

What is the difference?
