Contacts merged wrong

One of my contacts, my son, has merged with my brother on my contacts. It combined BOTH of their information and pictures.
Any thoughts? They have separate FB accounts with totally separate numbers/emails. One is Tony and one is Anthony same last name.
Could it be seeing those and combining them?

Select contact, menu button, unlink.....voila!

I agree your solution works but I have 2500 contacts and do not know which ones were mergred. Is there any way to know which contacts were merged without looking at each of the 2500 individually?
