I've had the HTC Desire, HTC M8 and now the HTC 10 all were and are great phones, but using Marshmallow, my contacts are on the SIM card and all I have are locations for email and a phone number. Is there a way to add street addresses, etc. or do I need a 3rd party app? Thanks in advance. :)

Go to People > long press on contact > edit > scroll down to Add More Info / Add New Field and voila...

Thanks, but I got to contact>edit> and all it gives me, with NO ability to scroll, is name, phone, email. :(

I think the issue is because the contacts are on the sim card. Try moving them to your phone.

From the main people screen, click the overflow button then manage contacts.

I didn't find what you meant by overflow button but did get into manage contacts and import from sim, so now I have duplicates and they won't merge (tried that). Says it can't find any, so I'm doing them one by one and still can't figure out how to add the street addresses because I don't know how to remove the bloody keyboard. I really loved my M8 and this one is driving me crazy. ;)

To remove keyboard on any sceen, just press phone's back button (not on keyboard).

Well, that's clever, isn't it. *blush* I still don't have anywhere to edit and add my street addresses. It shows just the same as before, phone and email only with a blank screen below (see image up a couple posts). :(

When you imported contacts from your sim did you choose to move them to your phone or your Google account?

Imported to phone. At the top of each duplicate it says 'SIM' though. I don't know if it's reading the SIM card or if it means it came from it or what. I'm a bit aggravated right now about the whole phone.

At the top left of the main contacts page it should say phonebook. Click it. That should take you to a page titled contacts to display. Make sure phone is selected and sim is not selected.

Did as you requested. Sim was not selected and still is not. I also had a choice of 'all contacts', 'customize', 'by account' (I have 2), Phone, SIM

If I select 'phone', then 'by account' highlights, but I can't find any of my contacts when I then go to 'people' widget. If I then deselect 'by account' and only have 'phone' selected, the same thing happens. I like to be able to scroll through all my contacts and not have to go to 'favorites' 'groups', etc. If I can't do that, I'll find another phone book app. I'm pretty fed up now as my M8 was so much better in this regard. You'll notice that even though SIM is not selected, it says SIM beneath the contact name.
