Contacts... Not phone or google? How do I transfer

I imported my contacts from a idrive lite backup. They show up fine when i click the phone icon or call button. But they are not really listed as either a google or a phone contact...

I tried doing the people -> backup to sd deal but it only exported the single contact I have listed as "phone" but then none of the contacts i have on my phone are google either.. What can i do?

perhaps it would work better to just import them in gmail on a web browser on a computer then let them come over via sync? Give that a try.

Is there anyway to export the files from the idrive lite as a vcf file? If so you could then import them into gmail.
