(Spent lots of time tonight writing this on the X via WiFi, but then it wouldn't transmit... Grrr....)

There is a major problem (as far as I can see) with contacts on the DX. There is NO MASTER CONTACTS LIST.

You can use the Gmail contacts, or the "Contacts List" connected to the green/yellow contacts icon, or all the Facebook (etc) contact lists. For good or bad, they are all linked together by the X, no matter how accurate they are. You can find four or five (or more) listings for each of your contacts, visible only when you click the "Links" option at the bottom of each contact you pull up.

Have you had problems with text/emails going to the same person multiple times? Well. this is one of the causes - You think you are sending it to ONE name, but in fact, it's going to multiple versions of the same listing. It's a mess!!

At the least, using Gmail (Google) contacts, you have Gmail contacts, which you can edit and sync instantaneously, but you also have another list (at least one) that is hidden.

Worst of all, there seems to be no way to just have ONE master contacts list.

Houston, we have a problem...

Yeah I agree, I have a Bob, Rob, Robbie, and a Robert in my phone. This stupid smart phone keeps, linking all them together. I have to keep unlinking them everyfew days. The BB was nice casuse you could only edit number under the master list.
