I'm so confused with this phone and I don't know if it's because I'm so used to the HTC Inspire I just stopped using or what, but I'm frustrated. I started messing with it yesterday and every single thing I try to do doesn't work, down to the simplest thing like getting my contacts on it. I even have them saved on the SIM, and I know how to import them, but when I try to do it the phone does not recognize that there is a phone book file on either place. I have my contacts saved to a CSV (I think that's what it's called...) file that opens in excel.

I would use KIES but I've never gotten it to recognize my phone, I had to update to GB using Odin. Any suggestions like a different program to sync my contacts from my computer to the phone? I'm sorry if I'm being confusing but this is such a simple thing to want to do that it seems silly to have it not work. I even uploaded my contacts to Google and synced them, but I'm having a problem with the phone not allowing me to use these as callable contacts. Doesn't that sound stupid? I certainly think so. Any help for a noob to the Samsung interface is appreciated :)

try copying all contacts to gmail and import to your phone via email? email yourself the "Vcard files" or Vcf's. I am not sure if that is only for LG shine with google phones as im using currently, sounds like its the same issue unless I read the question wrong which I do occasionally.:-[
