Starting yesterday the continued conversation feature has stopped working on my pixel 4xl. It's turned on and I went through chat tech support with Google and we tried all the troubleshooting steps and nothing worked. I noticed when I go to my list of what devices are supported with continued conversation, my pixel 4 phone is not listed which I think is a bit odd. But the other devices in my house are. Any ideas?

This with Google assistant?
You tried the normal stuff like safe mode, clear Google apps data then force stop , uninstall the update to Google app ?

Yes I tried all of those things, none of it worked. I put a feedback report into Google but I don't know what else to do. Is it working for you?

Continued conversation is definitely working on my Google smart speakers, I'll have to try on my phone.
Yeah I have a Google home Smart speaker in my computer room and it's working on that too. But for some reason it's completely stopped working on my phone.

OK Google and continued conversation seem to be working normally on my Pixel 6. I can't imagine Google would not support this on a 4XL any longer.

Nope, no beta app. And yes it is working, I use it almost daily just not normally for continued conversations. But this morning I asked a random question (using OK Google as the launch phrase) and then right after she answered I asked a related question and she answered.

I did notice that the microphone stays on for a few seconds after she initially answers since she is listening for another question/response. I wonder if mic permissions have anything to do with continued conversation not working for the OP?

OP can double check microphone permission but mines not working so maybe server side or needs a Google app update.

True. I am on a few week old version of the Google app, maybe a recent update broke something? I stopped updating the Google app last month as a test because recent Google app updates seemed to cause Android Auto to break the Bluetooth connection to my Jeep.
