Contract is 2+ years old. Anyone get their costs lowered because of it?

The SGS3 came with my 2 year contract, so the phone should be paid for now. I would sure like to lower the cost since it's paid for now.

call them and ask. they could probably switch you to a new cheaper plan that doesn't include the phone subsidy. be sure to get any and all plan/price changes in writing.
