If you have ever lost the remote then this application very well may save you money just by using it. Remotes at the store cost from $10-$150. IR Universal Remote is free to use. There is a free version with ads and an ad free version for $0.99. You will never have to re-buy another Universal Remote again. IR Universal Remote now supports WiFi devices such as Roku, Android TV and Chromecast. A lot of updates have been made to the application the last few months. Check it out to see what's new.

Not particularly crazy about the color scheme and definitely needs (a lot of) improvement in the graphic design department... but I am intrigued especially with the added mouse/keyboard feature. I'll give it a try when I get home... it might as well save me a few dollars since I was looking at getting a mouse/keyboard for the laptop when it's hooked up to the TV and I'm in the couch/bed :) hehe

Thanks for the feedback! The graphic design is continuously improving. The color scheme can be completely customized. You can add any color to the Action bar, buttons, and background. You can also upload custom background images on your infrared remotes. Once you mess with it a little you will see how customizable the color scheme is.

Good to know! Since I can't test it yet, does the mouse/keyboard element need any extra download in the computer? Instruction on the page aren't really clear about that...

Yes. When you download the app and open the PC Mouse remote for the first time it will give you the link to the pc companion app. Here is the link to the companion app: WaveSpark. All you need to do is download the windows app and run it. Then enter your IP address into the app and you should be good to go. Make sure your pc and android phone are on the same network connection.
