I've been watching the forums since the Pixel 6 Pro came out. I have a OnePlus 7 Pro that I'm still very happy with, everything works reliability, it does everything I need it to do just fine. It doesn't have 5G, it doesn't have wireless charging, but other than that it's a solid device. Why should I choose the Pixel instead of waiting for the OnePlus 10 Pro?

This is just my opinion, but if I had to ask that question I would stick with what I already have. If you don't think you'll be happy with a Pixel 6 without second guessing, you probably won't be happy.

Why do we need to convince you? If you like the phone buy it! simple as that. It's a phone not a house man!

For me, it's about the Pixel camera and the regular updates. I'm sure there will be people who want to jump on me and make snarky comments about the missed December and delayed January updates, as well as some of the bugs that have been written about, but none of that has affected me at all, and the fact of the matter is that the Pixel updates will still be more regular and more reliable on the whole than OnePlus's (especially considering that OnePlus has also been having an increasing number of buggy updates).

But I would also agree with the above comments that if you really like OnePlus, then by all means see what the 10 Pro offers.

Maybe try and get to a store where the 6 Pro is on display and look at it in person. Then you may know if you like it or not. I love mine. All the reasons that B. Diddy stated are my reasons for loving my Pixel. I haven’t had all the issues people have complained about either. I never had an issue with my (still working) Pixel 2XL even though others complained about that. For me Pixels are my go to devices and I will keep buying them.

I agree my 1+7 T pro mclaren is a fantastic device and has 5G , im havnt like the direction One Plus has gone after this series, the 6 pro going be better in many areas including pricing which probably best bang for your buck and what you get .

There’s no reason to convince you. You’re happy withy your 1+7. Why consider buying another in first place?
