Copy/paste and the clipboard

I know I must be missing something easy here, but wanted the group to chime in. When I copy a link on a webpage and want to email it to a friend, it always asks to copy to the clipboard. Then, when I open a new email message and try to paste, there is no option to paste. How do I access the things that are put on the clipboard? How do I clear the clipboard? I'm running stock TB, bought on day one of release (works great, never had any issues).

I just tried it with gmail and it worked fine. Are you long pressing long enough. You should get a paste option. How are you copying it? Long press copy, long press paste.

Good golly! Yep, that's it. Unfortunately, I've still got some Blackberry things to purge from my brain , as you could just hit Menu to pull up the paste option. Long presses in Android, duh.....
