Corrupt screen, can't access recovery

The screen on my Asus Zenpad Z380 is corrupt (see pic) and I can’t get it into recovery or even reboot it. I fear it’s game over, but just wonder if there is a way to rescue, it perhaps with a firmware flash, though it would need to be done completely remotely if I can’t get into recovery.

Any ideas?
