Corrupted android?

I have been running rooted with Skyraider since August. I updated to SR 3.5 in December and have been loving it.

Last night my battery was going dead. I let it run to nothing now and then but not often. Last night I hooked it up to the charger and being my alarm clock as well as my phone I turned it back on. I noticed it was taking an aweful long time at the "eye" portion of the startup animation. After about 20 minutes it finished booting. Thinking nothing of it I went to bed. This morning I wake up to see my widgets and most apps have stopped working.

I restored my nand from minutes before I updated to Skyraider 3.5, this got my widgets working. After the restore I noticed several apps are missing, and even more have a green and white generic android box icon. Among the missing are Astro, Rom manager, Titanium, and the android Market. Items are missing on both the SD card and the phone storage. I updated to Skyraider 3.5 and everything that was missing or corrupt is still in the same condition.

Any ideas? I am thinking full wipe at this point but I want to know if anyone else has run across this before.

Do a clean wipe . Did you wipe before you updated to skyraider

I didn't wipe it, for fear of losing my progress in angry birds... as stupid as that sounds.

A full wipe fixed it.
