Does anyone know how soon after a release that Costco typically carries phones? I am on Verizon and will be doing an exchange to get the G2 and I am hoping I don't have too wait long!

Try calling tomorrow. I read September 12th is the release date. I do not implicitly trust the source, though.

I am hoping to swap out to the G2 at Costco also. It is not showing up on their website yet.

The costco return policy is 90 days....that's not really a big incentive for you is it?

It is nice when there is a Nexus 5 looming and the holiday season approaching. 90 days of exchanges takes you to the middle of December so one can enjoy the best phone out today and then exchange it on day 89 for the best phone out at that time, all without restarting your 2year contract.
