could not create an account using the app or Chrome on my android phone

I could not create an account using the app or Chrome with my phone. My phone is Android 6. I had to use Safari on Mac to make the account and then finally sign into the app with my phone.

I found an article describing how to report site bugs. Do I really need to do all that? I was hoping just reporting it as I have done here would suffice.
