Could Quick Charge be unlocked in an Update?

Its supposed to iam afraid, others have said that putting the phone in power saver mode whilst charging makes it charge a lot faster, i haven't tested that yet though

Not sure if there's any truth to it, but I heard that quick charge diminishes the life of the battery. With this thing being thoroughly caked smack dab in the middle of the phone, thats bad mmmkay.
