Could some Gear owners help answer a couple of questions please.

As a van driver I'm thinking the Gear could be handy by keeping my phone out of sight in the van as I deliver but I'll still be notified by the watch of calls/messages etc. My question is, if I were to leave the van to make a delivery would I have to reconnect to the phone upon returning to the van? Would I also be notified when I return to the phone of any missed calls via the Gear once reconnected?
Thanks in advance for any reply 👍

Yes. If you walk out of phone range with a gear on, it will disconnect then reconnect upon re-entering range. It connects/pairs w/ your phone via bluetooth. As for "missed" notifications, I haven't seen that happen yet. I'll have to try that part out tomorrow.

The phone can accommodate multiple devices connected via bluetooth.

I don't have Ford sync, but when driving I do connect my visor bluetooth speaker and haven't had any problems.

I'm not sure how Ford Sync works, but in principle it should work.

Correct as long as your choosing your primary source when pairing should work just fine.

Ditto on second comment. When in range will re synch and notify of anything missed

But you can't split phone audio twice if Ford Sync has phone audio and media audio can you still keep to watch connected too?

I have Ford Sync and the watch. Both sync simultaneously and for me the calls defaulted to the Ford sync and the watch was still connected.

Lucky you. When I get into my car with Ford Sync I get a message on my phone that says my watch has been disconnected. When I spoke with a Samsung Tech, he said it was 50/50 as to whether it would work or not.
I am okay with it I guess. Better my watch is disconnected than my Ford Sync not work.
