could the nexus one possibly shoot HD video?

Since it has the same processor as the Evo 4g. Or ist HD recording hardware? That would push up the N1 another notch.

haha over in the xda forums just today someone has enabled 720p video recording on the nexus one. they are doing all kinds of enhancements, got the video fpr up to 30 fps, etc. so yet it seems possible. go check it out.

That's insane. I really wish I could afford two lines and get a Nexus one and use both that and my EVO. Nexus One is a great piece of Phone.

Evo already does HD recording. This will make me root my n1 no doubt about it. This will also make me keep my n1 for another 18 months. It has all I need.
