Phone turned on as normal. Showed full bars. I use CDMA so it is always set to 3G I made a phone call and it was fine. An hour later I had to make a phone call........would not connect. Tried of couple of times.
Checked the contact list in case something was weird and nothing. Tried again, this time calling 611.
Would not connect. Turned off the phone. Powered back on and can make calls now.

Weird.........has this happened to anyone else?. In all the years I have had a cell, whether it be a dumphone or smartphone, this has never happened. If it does, just turn off the phone and power back up.

3G has nothing to do with phone calls. You can try toggling airplane mode first prior to resetting or rebooting phone.

The last two mornings I lost data (no 3g or 4g) but still had the ability to make and receive phone calls. I had to reset phone both days to get data back. Network toggle didn't work.

More bugs than a volkswagon dealership.

Every now and then I get weird data issues like this, including yesterday morning when my phone registered full bars (3G), but no data worked at all, no browser, no twitter updates, nothing. I didn't try to make a phone call, so I'm not sure if that was working or not.

Long story short, usually toggling "airplane" mode with set you straight, but I've had to do full reboots before as well. It's a rare problem, but frustrating when it happens. I have to wonder if it's more network related than phone related, due to the recent 4G outages and that several of us have data drops in just the last few days...?

Phoenix did have the network issue from what I heard I did show data and could get online just for that moment couldn't call call and an hour prior I had made a call fine.

I keep telling you the problem in Arizona is due to anti-technology javelina gangs.

You may laugh now but wait til they're sticking their snouts in your window looking for your tbolt.

Next time they are around I will get pics. When weather is cooler they come around. Fun to watch but don't get close. Their babies are cute. So small. My cat is bigger. LOL. I love Cave Creek. I see quail and rabbits everyday. Quiet. No traffic noise at night.

You should get some good closeups as they stampede to get your tbolt. Crunch, crunch problems solved. Your only hope would be angry birds (natural enemy of javelinas - protectors of technology).

You are too funny thanks for the laughs !
