Couple of Nooby Questions.

Idk if I posted this in the right spot, but for now I got some questions before I go to root.

1. How does wifi tethering work - does it use 3g and turn it to wifi, or verizon signal to wifi, and does this eat up my data
2. chances of bricking phone
3. What is this DJ05 or DL09 stuff people talk about
4. If something goes wrong, or my phone wont boot or anything, how easy is it to fix.
5. Does overclocking make the phone run hot or eat up more battery.
6. Any other cool stuff I can do besides overclock, tethering, and certain themes.

A couple questions, and if anyone posts in here telling me to google, I already tried, i would rather just get straight answers from people who already rooted and have rooting experience with their fascinate. Thanks again.

1. makes phone wifi hot spot. in order to have this phone you have to have an unlimited data plan so dont sweat the data usage.
2. chances of bricking your phone are very high. in fact i would be surprised if you didnt. the good news it isnt that bad. you can make all kinds of cool stuff from bricks .
3. dj05 and dl09 are maintenance releases that never happened. they were leaked and then indie devs made stuff for them. they fix problems with the current build.
4. one of the cool things you can make from a brick is a phone!!! its really easy to unbrick a phone. i have not heard of anyone permenantly bricking a phone.
5. overclocking is mostly over rated. it does provide some speed increase(atleast for me). battery life is MUCH better than stock.
6. custom roms!!! custom themes!!! try them all. i have!! also the dj05 and dl09 fix the gps, battery and a couple of other issues with stock.
