Couple of questions for PH-1 owners

I am considering replacing my OnePlus 3T with Essential - I have not seen a PH-1 in person and I have a couple of questions:

1) How is the strength of vibrations for notifications and incoming calls? I use a horizontal belt pouch and want to make sure I can feel it.

2) I read one posting somewhere that the notification LED is so close to the screen edge that bumper cases cover it up - can anyone confirm if this is true, or perhaps it was only a specific case the post referenced (the ppsting didn't name the case)

I still have the 3T and have been using the Essential PH-1 for several months.

The vibration motor on the PH-1 isn't that strong. Sometimes I don't feel it I'm my pocket but I can hear the vibration.

Some cases covering up the LED notification area was an issue but that shouldn't be a problem with newer and updated cases. Most have a cutout at the top so it doesn't block the LED and earpiece speaker.

It's a bit weaker on the PH-1. I usually lower vibration strength on the 3T with custom kernel but haven't changed it on the PH-1.
