I just got a Prime, and there's a couple things I'm curious about. First, is there any way to enable the ability to resize any widget? I couldn't find anything in the settings, but maybe I overlooked something?

Also, are there any benefits to running the THD version of games/ apps? Are there any downsides to running the regular versions of said games/ apps on the Prime? Thing is, I already bought regular versions of these things for my phone, and I don't know that I want to rebuy all of them unless there's some specific upside.

THD versions of apps? The only one I've heard of that's THD is the Splashtop app. If you already bought the HD or standard edition, there's no point in upgrading unless you intend to remotely play games on your PC via your tablet. Also, the HD edition is included in the Asus MyCloud software that is pre-installed, though I've heard it may have issues.

Regarding anything else, there will likely be Tegra-specific versions of certain apps/games that are designed to take advantage of the graphics capabilities of the Tegra 3 chipset in your tablet. The advantage there will be better looking graphics, smoother graphics/animations, and enhanced visual effects. How much different they will be will vary from app to app, but if you can live without the enhanced graphics on something that you already bought then I wouldn't re-buy.

You don't have to do anything to "activate" the ability to resize widgets. This is something native to ICS but it does require that the widget you are using allow for resizing. For example, the stock calendar and Google+ widgets allow resizing but other widgets may not have that feature. In order to resize a widget, press and hold on for a second or two, let go and then you'll see 4 "diamonds" on the sides of the widget. That let's you know you can resize the widget.

THD versions of games or apps are Tegra optimized, so they have visual enhancements to take advantage of the chip. You won't harm your tablet if you use standard versions or HD versions you already have. You just won't have the enhancements. So, it is up to you to decide what you want.

Ah, okay. Just out of curiosity, any good bluetooth controllers that work with the Prime, for gaming?
