I just got my TB and have a couple setup questions. I came from the D1 running CM7 so I got a bit use to vanilla gingerbread experience.

First is the gallery. How do I set up albums? I have my photos broken down into different folders, one for my son, my house...etc. I transferred all of these from my D1, put all the folders into the DCIM/100Media. But when I go to gallery all I get is all my photos in one album called All Photos.

Second, on the app drawer bar on the bottom. You have the app drawer, the phone button, and the setting button. Can that setting button be changed to anything else? I can see it being pretty worthless after a week or two of getting this phone setup.

Last question is about root and unrooting. I may want to root the phone just to get rid of all the bloatware installed. If I then unroot does the bloat come back? Or does it all come back at the next OTA? The phone has a ton of space, but I hate looking across a lot of icons to open what I want (yes a bit OCD)

Try moving the folders out of the DCIM folder and just placing them in a Picture folder, the DCIM is for pics taken with the phone.

I agree, it does seem worthless to have it as a main shortcut on the launcher. Try looking into other launchers.. Launcher Pro, ADW, Go Launcher are some good ones.

If you unroot it will not bring the bloat back. You may actually need the Verizon bloat that they push with the phone in order to receive updates so you don't want to permanently delete it. You can use something like Root Explorer and copy it to a new folder and then remove/store the folder off from the phone or Titanium Backup and just freeze the bloat apps. We usually receive the leaked updates before the carriers even push them out, so it actually doesn't matter but it's good to keep the bloat safe somewhere incase you ever need it.
