I have searched for this in these forums prior to posting and I haven't found anything relating to my particular issue, so forgive me if this has been posted before.
I've cracked the screen of my Nexus 7 and now not only is it cracked but there is no touch input as well. I have a 16 gig model (bought it for $250+tax), rooted, and running a custom ROM, so my warranty is out the window. I have found some digitizers on Ebay for around $150 but the problem is, I've never replaced one myself. So, I guess my question is, would it be worth it to buy a replacement digitizer and replace it myself, even though I am very inexperienced on the subject, or simply buy a new tablet? Also, how hard is it to replace a screen/digitizer on the Nexus 7?
