cracked screen need help with data

I dropped my phone and the screen cracked but you can still turn on the phone and call people and receive texts. I got my replacement phone about a week later and i was wondering if there is any way to move my texts over to my new phone or just look at them someway. Can anyone help?

You can try applications like SMS backup from the android market.

Ok sorry i misunderstood. i thought it was cracked and you were still able to control it.

You can attempt using Holo backup tool , hopefully your device had debugging mode checked off. Try this and let me know if it works out for you

Try doing it with your new device and see if it connects. If it does then the old device is simply not in debugging mode and you will not be able to do this. If it doesn't work with the new device then it is a driver issue.

Don't forget to put the new device in debugging mode

I don't know what they use software wise but I doubt they will be able to help. But it is worth a try.
