Cracked screen worked until update.

Cat knocked my note 8 off the dresser. It cracked the screen, have a line across it near the bottom but still worked fine. UNTIL I got an auto update today. When I reboot the phone, screen works great. When the screen times out and I turn it back on all I get is a green screen Now every time I need it I have to restart for it to work. Any ideas?

Yes, screen works in safe mode.

So it doesn't do the green screen thing after you wake it from sleep? In that case, it may be that one of the apps you installed isn't playing nice with the update.

I cleared the cache and it's working now.
