Crackle.com works on Thunderbolt

Thank you! Very simple and straightforward. No hoops to jump though. Just visit on the web browser. Very cool...

The free movies work fine. Haven't tried the pay ones yet.

Yea and I downloaded it from the market and was watching Married with Children.
Haha... cool, I didn't know it was on the Market. I just downloaded it too. Funny, the actual website seems like a better interface to me. But... for less capable phones (no flash, etc.) the Market app may be better.

I was surprised how well it worked on 3G.

I saw it was in the Market as well. Seems there's a free and paid version. I like using the browser. I'll probably try the app eventually.

You can click the box for fullscreen when the show is playing. Looks good to me!

Thanks Chrisy,

Not familiar with crackle, quick noob question, is it a safe site? I just checked the app and the ratings are terribly low.

I didn't, and won't, download the app. I'm just using the browser to watch. I watched Big Daddy yesterday. I'm sure the app is fine too, I just don't like downloading unknown apps either. That why ill just use the browser for now.

I downloaded the app and couldn't get it to work. I didn't trouble shoot at all just gave up quickly. Anyone able to open and use the app?

Wonder why the app doesn't work. That's booty. I've been watching shows using sites players recently. It works fine.

Crackle.com not working on my bolt. After the battlefield 3 advertisement it just stops.

I just tried both the site and the app and they both worked on my TBolt. The app was smoother than the site. The Battlefield 3 video stated it was not optimized for mobile but it did run...choppy.

I just watched Easy Rider on my Thunderbolt without any buffering on 3G!

it gave me a "could not get data" error the first couple times I opened the app, and then the first time I clicked on Easy Rider, but then it finally gave in and let me watch.:)

Video quality is shockingly good!! If the HBO Go app works this good come May 2 I'll be thrilled.

I used the Crackle app from the market

EDIT: I just now finished watching Heavy Metal via the actual website on my Thunderbolt...again was able to use 3G without any issues.

This is kick butt :)

I was surprised at the picture quality too! I'm using it over 3G as well and only had buffering on the commercial. Otherwise, I've now watched three movies. I didn't have choppiness.

One thing I've noticed is that on some sites I have to adjust my text size down from give to normal, so I can access the buttons on the site. Applies to this site for me.

The app is buggy, but it eventually works. My son and I watched Super Humanoid Bem while waiting for the bus this morning.

Try watching from the website. I haven't had any issues that way. That's what I like, I didn't want to download another app.

They have their pros and cons. The website is free for everything, which is nice. But the controls can be a little tricky and since it's not optimized for mobile the video can be a little jerky at times, especially during lots of action.

The app has easier controls and has buttery smooth video, but the content is limited. The app wants you to upgrade via subscription to watch a lot of content. I even tried to upgrade for one month($4.99) and it just kept redirecting me back to the app in the market that I already have installed.

Anyway, thanks for the heads up on this app. :)
