crappy headphone jack/speaker

Anyone else having issues with having their headphones in? I get either crappy volume (somewhat decent then *BLAM* in your face blaring sound. Also cuts in and out and static. Has done this with headphones and auxiliary cable when I listen in my car. And the speaker itself does the limited volume to loud to quiet again for no apparent reason.

Do you have any 3rd party apps that can modify the sound, like an equalizer app? If so, try uninstalling it.

No I don't the only apps I use are ihearttadio and play music

Maybe try uninstalling IHeartRadio as an experiment.
