creating shortcuts to video and calendar

Is there a way to create a shortcut on the home screen to the "All Videos" folder in the Gallery Application. I've tried doing the "long press" and adding a shortcut, but it only goes as far as the "Gallery"

also... I know the standard calendar widget only displays upcoming events... is there a way that it can display a full month? (like a mini month calendar)

for the videos, i'm not sure
