I just purchased a refurbished AT&T G2 running 4.4.2 and it works perfectly on Cricket. It won't allow me to update to Lollipop via OTA, unfortunately. Is there a way to manually do this? Also.. I use a MacBook Pro so I am unsure if it is even possible to do so my computer? I may be at a loss... lol. Thanks.

Yes. First you must find someone with an ATT sim that you can use temporarily in your phone to update it. If that is not possible, buy an ATT Go Phone sim card, I paid $5 for mine, and use it to update the phone.

I did the ATT Sim method but it wouldn't work :(

I purchased mine directly from the ATT wireless website. They had a special for $5. After putting in the new ATT sim, try setting the date 24-48 hours in advance. Then reboot. It should work.
