'Cross-Grade' to leaked Froyo?

hey all - thought I saw a post on this but when I searched nothing came up.

I'm suffering from the WIFI issues and wondering about wiping and installing the leaked 2.2...

possible?
easy?

I'm fairly handy but not very droid-savvy.

I thought the leaked was version 2.3.9.MB810

There were 3 leaks I believe. 2.3.9, 2.3.13, and 2.3.15.

Also a Droid2 R2D2 2.4.0 that was ported to the X.
