Cruzerlite Androidified A2 (TPU and Carbon) case for Google Pixel XL

Got this case I'm the mail today. Very thin case adds very little bulk to the XL. I got the Red one.

It's a little grippy but nothing like the OtterBox. I will say the buttons are easier to press compared to the Defender. Overall this is the minimum coverage I would want to go. Good case for the daily grind.

I've loved their previous cases on my Nexus 5 & EVO LTE (Bugdroid Circuit & some Bugdroid pattern both in red), was waiting for these to become available for the Pixel... Those had the side buttons uncovered, I think I prefer the opposite - which their Androidified version features.

The Bugdroid Circuit still seems to feature uncovered buttons for those who prefer that (or the translucent look). I might go teal or something else besides red this time, wouldn't red look like Santa's phone with a Silver Pixel?

There's currently one review up on Amazon that claims the Type C cutout is too tight even with the stock cable, is yours ok in that regard?

I'll take some pics and test the stock charger when I get home. Other 3rd party cables work fine.

Now! Looks great IMO, definitely going for this over the translucent circuit version this time around. There's one really positive review for one of the XL Cruzer cases on Amazon now, I wonder if only the smaller Pixel has a tight cable cutout or if the review is just bogus... You'd think they'd go for identical cutouts, I mean, it's the same cable/connector.

I got this in black the other day and I love it. I miss the textured button on my Spigen Rugged Armor case, but these buttons are easy enough to figure out.

I think the finger print sensor is a little harder to activate because the case comes in really close to its edges, but overall I'm fine with it.

I dropped my phone onto asphalt the other day from about two-three feet up and both the phone and the case look great still.

The carbon fiber bug droid is cute, though honestly I'm not sure that carbon fiber there adds anything.

I rocked this case in Nashville on vacation this week. Never dropped it but overall happy with the case. Easy in and out of pocket. Thin and minimalist. Used some earbuds and the cutout works fine. Buttons are easy to depress as well. Not sure if I will put the OtterBox on again.

One negative about this case, and I'm surprised more people don't discuss this, is on-ear comfort. It kinda digs into my ear when on an extended call. Not a huge deal but thought I would mention it.

Other than that, great case for $10. The fitment is absolutely perfect.
