Curious Iphone question

Just curious how does iphone user go [back] and [menu]? I did not see these buttons on an iphone. I have never use iphone before.

With iPhone apps, you rely on there being a Back button on the screen, so it depends on the app's code. It may also be a gesture. Otherwise, you have to press the Home button, which dumps you back to the main screen.

The same goes for menus--there should be an onscreen menu or settings button while in a given app. But there are also other settings for the app that you can access in the iOS system menu. I always found that a little confusing, when fiddling with my wife's old iPhone 4S.

I think what rews means is that most modern Android devices no longer have a hard (capacitative) Menu button, with a few exceptions. But pretty much every Android app has a menu button somewhere--it's either the "hamburger" button (which looks like 3 horizontal lines) or a button that looks like 3 vertical dots.
