Current Weather Location Not Working

Anybody else have issues with the current location updating on the weather widget? I have a Verizon version and it keeps telling me "service temporarily unavailable." If you manually add your location it works though? Anybody know what the issue could be?

If you don't have high accuracy location enabled, it's probably not figuring out where you are. (If there's only 1 cell tower covering a large area, that would be one reason.)

With my S7 Edge I never had an issue, with the same settings.

Mine stays on high accuracy, & I have issues from time to time too. I think that it only happens when I am in a low signal area.

I figured it might be. It's just weird how it updates no problem when it's on added cities but not current location.

I had the same issue with my T-Mobile GS9 yesterday - and only yesterday.

seems someone at weather.com messed up with the end point APIs of the updates. its affecting me on my note8 too. comes and goes on and off.

had the same problem on my at&t s9, it seems to have fixed it's self though. i did notice one thing though, on my s7 the weather would come from accueather, on my s9 it comes from the weather channel
