Custom Alarm Tones on LG G6

[Android Central Question]

I've been trying to change my alarm tone from that incessant "good morning" screech. I open up the custom tones bit and try to use Google Music. When I do that, it says I have no tracks, even when I had just downloaded one. Does anybody have a solution to this?

Welcome to Android Central! You can't manipulate music files you download using the Play Music app -- those are limited to offline use by the Play Music app only. You'd have to download the music file on your computer (using the Play Music website on your computer browser), then copy that file to the phone's /Alarms directory.
