Custom Alarm

What is the best and/or easiest way to have songs be used for alarm sounds? Is there any way to do it without adding apps I.e. staying native or not...? Thanks in advance !
Ps how is this not something standard?!?

I'm sure it's possible with rooted phone but what's wrong with an app that does that? I have the paid version of https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...?id=com.alarmclock.xtreme.free&token=qvbkiTN_ and works great. I think the free version allows you to do that too.
