Custom icons

So I've download a pretty cool set of icons from the internet. Went to install them with Nova only to find out that I can't install them.

My question is I'm I able to manually place the zip file somewhere for Nova to read it?

I don't know Nova, however are you sure it's not that the files are zipped? If you can set other images as icons and not these it's likely the file type and not the location.

Did you 'download' them as in you didn't get them from the play store? If so then you need to go into your settings and click 'install from unknown sources' then go into my files and install the app itself from wherever its stored in your phone. Once youve install the app nova launcher will read it without any problems. Hope this helps
