It's easy, I'm not using stock sounds for anything. Different sounds for each of my three email addresses. Different sounds for regular text messages, and Google Voice text messages (my phone has two numbers, personal and business). Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Google+, Skype, etc all have their own sounds too. I know exactly what I get just by the sound, no need to even look at my phone.

Personally, I used Star Trek sounds for everything.

Try the app called Zedge for cool & free ringtones & sounds. You also can use any MP3 file for ringtones or notification sounds. You an use an app called MP3 Cutter to cut them down to what you want right from your Note 4. I use it all the time.

If you want to add your own, ringtones or notifications just connect to a PC and place the MP3 file in the Ringtones, or Notifications directories/folders on the phone storage or create them on the SD card, if you have one and want them there. They will show up when you use the settings or the app to select tones.
