custom recovery

i just did the custom recovery for the optimus s and im trying to figure out how to make my phone have more internal free space using my sd card i already made half my sd card a ext2 now trying with ext3 and still internal is still only 50mb what can i do to make it read as more using sd card? if possible

Hey I was wondering the same thing I just got a 16gb sdcard and I already know and have flashed the new thunde rom if you havent already it gives you off the gate like 145 to 150 internel memory and now im going to use zefies recommendations and also read ksmithny's post to good info about not using apps that are used on your screen cuz it will get buggy just look here http://forum.androidcentral.com/lg-optimus-s/44537-how-regain-app-space-phone.html and read the directions good and then you should be good on space just when you download a new app put it on the sdcard and DO NOT REMOVE the SDCARD while using the phone you will not be able to use the app hope that helps ya out for a start I wanna learn more on the ext part more if you know help me out lol
