I am not able to set a custom ringtone for one of my contacts. i have it set as a different one then my default phone ringtone. But it doesnt play my custom one. It just plays whatever I have as default.

Am I doing something wrong here

I just tried mine and it works, I just went to that contact and selected a ring tone. I'm assuming you did the same.

Yea idk for some reason it wasnt working for me. Ill have to do a reboot and try again later.

Edit just rebooted, and now it works. Thanks for the help anyways peeps.

Get Ringdroid from the Market. Free. Lets you edit any mp3 or other ringtone sound and set as ringtone, notification etc. Works great.

Umm we are talking about the incredible, right? Ring Droid sucks if you have an incredible. Incredible has 8GB of internal storage and no SD card. I don't need or even want to buy an SD with my incredible and ring Droid is the most useless piece of software in existence if you don't have an SD card. I don't know why they won't just let you save ringtones to internal storage.

Is your SD card mounted? Mine would do that only I'd my SD card was unmounted after a sync.

Wrong forum, but try creating these folders: Ringtones, Notifications. Then put whatever sound files you want in there.
