Custom ringtones....

Hi, I have a rooted Photon and I attempted to make a custom ringtone for it. I started with a 30 sec clip of an mp3, converted it to ogg . I first moved it to my external sd card from my pc, it played in that location and sounded as it should. After mounting "System/Media/Audio/Ringtones/" with read/write permissions, I moved it to this location. The clip shows up on system ringtone selection, but when it plays it's just a basic phone ringing sound. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

You could always try ringdroid... Honestly, mp3 format works well for me

Glad I could be some help. Thats the only thing I miss about my htc devices... The trim ringtone feature

i use ring droid. don't even have to be rooted. great app.
