Customize Moto 360 watch faces

Hate to start a new thread for this, but maybe this will be useful info to someone.

Am I the only one who didn't know you could customize watch faces through the Motorola Connect App? Background colors, accent colors, world clock locations.

I just thought it was cool that you can personalize the watch a little.

This is one area that Android Wear trails the Pebble. I have a Pebble and can make a custom watch face including photos, etc in about a minute. I even created one for a wedding that had a photo of the groom and bride. I'm hoping this ability will come to Android Wear soon.

I saw an app in the Android Wear store which allows you to add your own photos and make your own clock...not sure if it was compatible with the Moto360 but I know the app is there

I am assuming you don't have to have a Motorola phone to use this app to customize the watch faces, right?

This is correct. You don't need a Moto phone to use Motorola Connect for your Moto 360.

I hadnt ever heard of the app before until someone on YouTube said that you have to have the app so I checked it out and it is awesome

Agreed on Facer, good support for the 360. Granular customization & lots of style options. Would be even better if weather could be added.

I'm finding the Classic #Moto360 watch face to be very helpful. The spaces filled in white mean that I have an appointment at that time. It's free/busy at a glance

I can't get the rings to fill up. How do I associate a calendar? I'm on the Moto X (1st) with Connect. Thanks!

I'm not sure how it works, it just does for me. If there's something on my calendar in the next 12 hours it fills in the spaces. The space changes to my accent color (green) when the appointment is active. The tics before 12 also turn green 10 minutes before the appointment and "count down" until the appointment starts.

I'm on the OnePlus One and using Nine email for Exchange
