Customize sharing menu on Pixel 2 XL?

Hey, All,

Is there something new with the Pixel 2 line or Oreo that prohibits you from using apps like Andmade and Fliktu to allow you to customize the sharing menu when you share stuff?

Neither app seems to work any more and I can't find any native options to clean up or customize the share menu....

I installed both apps. The Andmade one didn't work but Fliktu seems to be working on my Pixel 2 XL

Andmade Share - last updated in January 2013 - no surprise that doesn't work.
Fliktu: Share Fast - last updated in November 2015 - I'm surprised that still works
People just don't seem to realize that when developers don't keep up with the later SDK and API revisions, meanwhile the OS is changing rapidly, stuff just breaks.
FWIW you can customize portions of the Share menu by following the instructions in this article https://android.gadgethacks.com/how-to/edit-androids-share-menu-no-root-needed-0182089/ - BE SURE TO OPEN THE LINK IN A BROWSER THAT BLOCKS Ads since there's some bogus spamware that you'll see otherwise. And the customization doesn't appear to work for apps like Google Photos or the Google Play Store. YMMV.

Thanks... Yea, I was definitely aware that the devs weren't keeping up with the OS... That's why I started searching for new ones....

It's unfortunate, since Andmade worked pretty well. I sent an email to the developer to see if he'd be open to making the code open source so that someone else could pick up code development but haven't received a response; it's probably not monitored any longer anyway. Oh well.
