cut and paste and other questions

How do I get my Note3 to discern when I want it to paste an item I just copied or cut, rather than cutting or pasting another item? When I press on the spot I want to paste an item I've copied, my device just keeps showing the blue arrow, or the blue underscore, as if I want to cut another item, or change the spot I want the keyboard to type on. Totally irritating.

Also, how do I get my device to quit using a particular predictive word, like "AMD" when I type "amd", instead of changing it to and.

Finally, how do I get my device to insert a particular word when I misspell it. Like teaching it to insert "Ricardo" when I type "Rivardo". Or is this something I need to let my device figure out on its own as I use it.
