Cut Down No. of Incoming Rings

Currently I'm using the "old fashioned" ringtone already in the HTC phone BUT how do I cut down the number of times it rings before it goes into voicemail? Now it rings maybe 8 or 9 times before voicemail cuts in. I have looked everywhere on the phone and don't see anywhere where I can change the number of times the phone rings on an incoming call. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thaks.

This is controlled by VZW so you might try calling CS. Although, I thought I remembered it being set at 6... I dunno... In any case, I don't think there is anything you can do about it on the phone itself.
