Cwm to twrp??

I'm wanting to go from cwm to twrp....do I need to erase cwm?? How do I flash twrp??? What steps do I need to take.

[RECOVERY]TWRP 2.2.2.0 touch recovery [2012-08-24] - xda-developers

Installing via Goo Manager (available in the Play Store) is the easiest way.

1) Install GooManager from the Play Store
2) Open GooManager and provide root permissions
3) Hit Menu (or the button with the 3 dots on your screen) and then Install OpenRecovery (which is TWRP). No need to erase CWM; everything is done for you.

Or you can just flash the .tar file in Mobile Odin. I think it advantageous to learn to do this yourself, than let programs like goo manager and Rom Manager do it for you. You may be surprised how easy it is.

I was looking for a copy of the latest twrp in a tar but couldn't yet. I found a img of it but will be away from my computer all day so I can't convert it to tar. If you want it now, I would suggest that you go ahead and use the goo manager method.

That is what you're supposed to use with sonic. Clark doesn't support cwm with sonic.

Yes... In fact, according to the FreeGS3 ROM page, he asks that you TWRP specifically.

That is what you're supposed to use with sonic. Clark doesn't support cwm with sonic.

Yes I know I'm a dork thank you. I don't even use windows anymore, I hate having to pay for every single os upgrade. So now I just use Ubuntu with wine I don't recall play games on my PC anymore.

Have you seen the new bing commercial, what's up with the 360s in the background is it subliminal messaging or something(sales must be slow in down for Redmond).
