CyanogenMod 7 for Droid 3

Is there a CyanogenMod 7 that can be used safely on my droid 3? or any other mod for that matter? Would really love to load a new rom

Never say never... The origin of the phrase comes from waiting with "abated" breath. Meaning to lower or suppress your breathing.

Although I wouldn't hold your breath for this... I think the d3 has a locked bootloader and I don't think Cyanogenmod has appeared on any phones from Moto with locked bootloaders.

I know that I had Cyanogenmod on my DX which has a locked bootloader. They were nightlies and I haven't played with my DX since getting the D3 so I don't know if they have the release version of CM7 out yet.

Yes some of the Motorola Droids have CM7 based Rom's they aren't official CyanogenMod Rom's.
