Just upgraded to the new cyanogenmod 6.1 and so far it is pretty good. Check it out. It is in Rom Manager.

Sent from my rooted Droid Inc.

I just installed and am getting FC errors whenever I choose the Sounds menu in Settings.

This is by far the best ROM I have ever used, I removed ADW and replaced it with LauncherPro though, just a personal preference. There is only 2 things I would like to see, 1. Fix the 720p recording and 2. Have the album art visible on the lockscreen similar to how it is on the sense lockscreen.

Hows battery life? That seems to be the universal weakness of AOSP ROMs.

I thought it sucked at first but it was a mistake on my part. I cracked the inner screen on my last incredible and waited until I got my replacement to use this rom. It turns out that the battery was just drained from not being charged over the couple days before I got the replacement and then I spent 4hrs rooting, installing roms and putting everything back on my phone just how I wanted it so the battery didn't have time to fill. I charged it to full after that and then did a bump charge and It's battery life is much better than when I used the stock sense rom. The battery gauge seems more accurate as well.

I found that if you are coming from a sense based rom and use titanium backup to restore system settings this will happen.

I used Titanium to restore apps, but not system settings. I discovered the FC's when I was going through the settings to get everything how I wanted. After my first attempt, I tried reloading it again by wiping everything and loading the rom only then manually going through settings before loading apps. Still had the same problem.

720p video does work, just change the setting from high to custom, then you can set it.. took me time to figure it out. :)

One thing i don;t like is the fact i can't save pictures to my sd card.

For album art, check the cyanogenmod settings and see if it is in there... there are a bunch of settings that are in there. Hope this helps

How come the brightness seems to dim really low? I have it set to auto brightness

thanks man, I couldn't figure out how to get 720p working and it was getting irritating lol.

I always found the Inc to be too dark when set on auto. The first setting I change autobrightness, I uncheck it and set the brightness to the highest. With CM6.1 I have had no battery problems from this.
